You’ll usually be instructed to finish the exposed edge of an interfaced facing with an overlocker or zigzag stitch to stop things from fraying. However there is another method that can give you an even neater finish!
By sewing your interfacing (whether iron-on or sew-in) to your fabric, you end up with a smooth seamed edge to your facing that’ll be very satisfying to see on the inside of your garment!
