One of our most-loved in person classes has finally made it’s way onto Stitch School: learn how to clone your clothes with Sasha!

In this Masterclass, Sasha takes you through the principles of making patterns from your own clothes. You’ll learn how to copy basic shapes, how to incorporate details such as darts, collars & facings, and how to properly finish your patterns so you become the pattern cutter!

This class is perfect for anyone that has something in their wardrobe that they love, and would love to have one in every colour, or for those that want to dip their toes into the world of pattern drafting. You’ll learn a lot of the principles of pattern drafting without even know it, making moving onto our Intro to Pattern Drafting class a breeze.

In this, Sasha shows you how to copy a basic top (the Edie Top), a dress with a dart (the Ultimate Shift Dress) and some darted trousers (the Ultimate Trousers) to introduce you to the principles of cloning your clothes. She also covers how to copy a jersey neckband, how to add pockets and how to copy a collar and collar stand. By following Sasha’s techniques you’ll be able to copy many garments from your wardrobe, with further details like pleats, and zip flys, still to come on Stitch School!
