The Amelia Jacket is a 1940s-style bomber jacket, named after the indomitable Amelia Earhart. Designed to be made out of a medium weight woven fabric, it’s a satisfying project with some great techniques to master.

The jacket features a bust dart, zipped front, flat collar, full-length set-in sleeves with elasticated cuffs and an elasticated waistband. She is fully lined for a beautiful neat finish on the inside and hits at the natural waist so she’s perfect to pair with high-waisted trousers, skirts and over dresses.

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
