Estelle is a beautiful dress with an on-trend side tie detail, designed to be sewn in knit fabrics. She will keep you comfortable whilst looking incredibly stylish.
Make your Estelle Dress in a comfy cotton jersey for a dress that can easily be dressed up or down. Pick a drapey knit like viscose or bamboo jersey for a slinky look, or a soft French Terry to keep you super cosy. You could even make yours in a sparkly fabric or a stretch velvet to create a stunning yet comfortable party dress for the festive season or to attend a wedding.
You can choose between two skirt styles: a narrow straight skirt for that wiggle dress look, or a wider skirt with side splits for a super sassy Estelle. We've given you two different notches, so you can make the split higher or lower, depending on what you're comfortable with.
The side tie is cleverly constructed through some pattern magic: it won't make sense, until it does! The neckline is finished with a jersey binding, and there's no need for an overlocker: you can sew the whole dress on a sewing machine using a zig zag stitch.
The pattern includes three sleeve lengths: short, 3/4 length or long sleeves, which makes Estelle a dress you can wear all year round. She looks great with heels, boots or trainers, with or without tights, so you can style her up or down for any occasion.
