But wait, what's a sewalong?
Joining in with a sewalong is a step-by-step class you can follow at home. Rather than having a teacher to guide you, we’ll be posting photographed step-by-step instructions which you can follow along with. We’ll be there to hold your hand each step of the way, and remember you can always email us to ask questions.

The Elsie Dress is a 1950s-inspired party dress, with a fitted bodice and a show-stopping box-pleated skirt. The v-neck gently curves for a soft, pretty look and the princess seams create that cinched-in silhouette so iconic of the 50s shapes we love. The full skirt comes complete with dramatic pleats, creating the illusion of an even tinier waist. But it’s not just the outer dress we love! Elsie is finished exquisitely on the inside, with a faced fully-lined bodice and a neat invisible zip. And for those of you who prefer separates, Elsie comes with a skirt-only version too!
