1940’s Tea Dress Sewalong No. 10: The finished dresses!
The 1940’s Tea Dress sewalong is finished!
Here’s ours…
We made our version for our lovely manager Kate, who chose the teal polka dot rayon for her dress.
We took the hem up about 10cm to keep it looking a bit more contemporary.
And here it is next to Lisa’s stunning peach sandwashed silk tea dress.
And now a few of yours! Just take a look at these beauties!
We love this fabric Kimberly has chosen. How elegant does she look??
Louise of Lou Weez Creates has got the fit down on her version. Love this fabric – teeny tiny hearts! And props for choosing a crepe de Chine. Not the easiest fabric to work with but she’s done such an amazing job!
And finally check out Rebecca’s super summery sleeveless tea dress. (Great idea!) And look at that fabric! Bikes, harps, chandeliers, mannequins, wine and sausage dogs! What a combination – we want some!!
