Nicole is a classic shirt dress with all the trimmings: buttons all the way down the front, collar and collar stand, and a midi A-line skirt with a gently curved hem. And yes, she has pockets!

The button-up front, collar and collar stand give Nicole the classic shirt dress look, and bust and waist darts add beautiful shaping to create a feminine silhouette. Choose between two skirt styles: gathered or flat-fronted with darts at the back.
We've given you two sleeve options to make this a pattern that can serve you well throughout the seasons. The short sleeve is finished with turn-ups, which makes for an easier sew, and the long sleeve features traditional shirt cuffs with a bound opening for a neat finish.

The Nicole Dress is available as a PDF pattern in our full range of sizes UK 6-30, split into two different blocks: sizes 6-20 are drafted for a B cup, sizes 18-30 are for a D cup. Nicole is an Intermediate pattern, but made in a stable cotton, especially with the short sleeve option, it can definitely be made by a confident beginner!
