The perfect day dress, Isla is floaty, feminine and flattering on a wide range of figures. With optional yoke and shoulder frills she’s fun to dress up and take out to a party, but leave these off and you’ve got a gorgeous dress for a weekend break, lunch with friends – or simply for looking great at the office.

Isla features a gently fitting button-up bodice, with bust and waist darts. The yoke offers the chance to insert a front frill, with frills also optional on the shoulders for a very on-trend look. Set-in sleeves can be cut short, or kept full-length with a gathered, closed cuff. The panelled skirt gives a fluted, feminine feel, perfect for swishing. Isla closes with an invisible zip in the side seam, and the v-neckline is finished with a facing.

What will I receive?
The downloadable pattern file contains:

  • printable pattern (in both tiled print-at-home and copyshop format)
  • fully-illustrated printable instruction booklet
  • copyshop permission letter

The Isla Dress pattern is either 45 A4/US letter pages, or 2 A0 copyshop pages.

If you purchase the PDF Pattern + Copyshop Printing option, you will also receive your pattern printed on A0 paper in the post. Find out more about our PDF Printing Service here.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper. Alternatively you can choose to have the copyshop files printed on large A0 paper, and posted to you at home. If you’re using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
