Juliette is a feminine, floaty, mandarin collar front frill blouse, perfect for adding a touch of romance to your work wardrobe. Its loose dartless shape make for a comfortable top, whilst the front frill gives it a put-together, flirty feel – ideal for the office but easily dressed up for an evening out.

With a feature front frill, mandarin collar and dropped shoulders, our Juliette Blouse has long sleeves with buttoned cuffs at the wrist and a flattering dipped hem.

Designed to be sewn in lightweight drapey fabrics, this blouse makes a nice challenge for an intermediate sewer looking for an interesting project.

Fabric Suggestions
We recommend lightweight woven fabrics with drape for the Juliette Blouse, such as rayon challis, crepe de chine, sandwashed silk, peachskin, georgette and viscose.

Lisa’s versions are made in crushed satin (coral version), chiffon (polka dots) and poly crepe de chine (floral).

Fabric Requirements
The Juliette Blouse sewing pattern is sized between UK sizes 8-20. See the chart for details on fabric requirements.

Like all our patterns, the sizes are nested to make it easier to grade between the sizes, depending on your measurements.

What will I receive?
The downloadable pattern file contains:

  • printable pattern (in both tiled print-at-home and copyshop format)
  • fully-photographed printable instruction booklet
  • copyshop permission letter

The Juliette Blouse pattern is either 32 A4/US letter pages, or 2 A0 copyshop pages.

If you purchase the PDF Pattern + Copyshop Printing option, you will also receive your pattern printed on A0 paper in the post. Find out more about our PDF Printing Service here.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper. Alternatively you can choose to have the copyshop files printed on large A0 paper, and posted to you at home. If you’re using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
