Originally released with Issue 3 of the Lisa Comfort Magazine, due to popular demand the Lottie Dress is now available as a stand-alone PDF pattern!

Lottie is a cool and light sundress to see you through the summer months; easy to throw on and perfect to take on holiday.

Knee length, sleeveless and fastened with a button placket all the way down the front, the Lottie Dress features pretty gathers at the neckline for shaping and an optional tie belt to cinch the waist in.

Bias binding is used to finish the armholes and the neckline, creating the straps at the same time. Make the binding out of the main fabric or save some yourself some time by using pre-made bias binding in a coordinating or contrasting colour.

Lottie works really well in beginner-friendly woven fabrics such as cotton poplin and cotton lawn both of which are easy to sew with.

See what other people have been making in the Lottie Dress Gallery and on Instagram with the hashtag #soilottiedress.

What will I receive?
The downloadable pattern file contains:

  • printable pattern (in both tiled print-at-home and copyshop format)
  • fully-photographed printable instruction booklet
  • copyshop permission letter

The Lottie Dress pattern is either 24 A4 pages, 27 US letter pages or 1 A0 copyshop page.

If you purchase the PDF Pattern + Copyshop Printing option, you will also receive your pattern printed on A0 paper in the post. Find out more about our PDF Printing Service here.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper. Alternatively you can choose to have the copyshop files printed on large A0 paper, and posted to you at home. If you’re using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
