Lisa felt bad leaving Poppy out of the mix so we have finally made something for her! She’s got her own coat!

This little dog coat is reversible so you can choose two different fun fabrics. How about a cosy fleece layer on one side and a smart corduroy on the other? The coat fastens with velcro and is super simple to sew and easy to put on your pup.

Who are Poppy and Jazz?
Named after Lisa’s dog Poppy and her young daughter Jasmine, Poppy & Jazz patterns are designed for babies and children from birth to 6 years. After Jasmine spent her first year in the sweetest handmade clothes, Lisa couldn’t resist building on her range of popular sewing patterns, and Poppy & Jazz was born!

Sewing Level
The Poppy Dog Coat is an Absolute Beginner sewing pattern.

Fabric Suggestions
We recommend medium weight fabrics such as cotton, wool, tweed, corduroy or waterproof wovens. You could also use fleece or knit fabrics as a contrasting fabric.

Fabric Requirements
See the chart for details on fabric requirements. For reference, Poppy is a Tibetan Terrier/Poodle cross and she wears a size small.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper. Alternatively you can choose to have the copyshop files printed on large A0 paper, and posted to you at home. If you’re using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
