Sewing Level
The Ultimate Wrap Dress sewing pattern is suitable for confident beginners. It’s a great place to start if you’ve never sewn with knit fabrics before, or a quick and fun make if you have!
Fabric Suggestions
For this pattern it’s knit fabrics all the way – wovens just won’t work here. You’re looking for something medium weight, such as a ponte di Roma, interlock jersey or doubleknit. These are stable knits and relatively easy to sew. If you’re a more experienced sewer, you could try a lighter weight knit such as viscose jersey, but do beware of going too light weight to avoid the dress being see-through!
Fabric Requirements
The Ultimate Wrap Dress comes in UK sizes 8-20. See the chart for details on fabric requirements.
Like all our patterns, the sizes are nested to make it easier to grade between the sizes, depending on your measurements.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper. Alternatively you can choose to have the copyshop files printed on large A0 paper, and posted to you at home. If you’re using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
