Our Dorothy Jacket is the perfect outerwear for spring and autumn. Now you can make Dorothy weather-proof with the Add-On Hood pattern and Workshop on Stitch School.
The great news is that if you've already made the jacket, there is no unstitching involved to add the hood. We've made it detachable, so you can put it on your Dorothy when you need it and take it off when you don't!
The Dorothy Jacket Add-On pattern is for a fully lined hood featuring a drawstring channel around the front opening. The hood is detachable and is added to the Dorothy Jacket with simple press stud fasteners. Sew the full hood in the same fabric as the jacket, or get creative with a fun cotton for the lining. It's a great way to use up some pretty scraps from your stash!
In the Stitch School online Workshop we’ll show you every step of the construction of the Dorothy Jacket Add-On Hood and how to attach it to the Dorothy Jacket. You’ll also get access to our handy tutorial on how to add hardware to your Dorothy Jacket.
