Product variants

The Peggy Trousers are a classic pair of high-waisted trousers with a flattering paper bag waist. Easy to dress up or down, they are destined to become your new go-to trousers for both work and weekend. Lisa and Salma both love their Peggys with a casual Lucy T-Shirt, but they can also be smartened up with a Lilian, Freia or Pussy Bow Blouse!

With a zip fly at the front, they are elasticated around the side and back waist for comfort, easy fitting, and to create the paper bag effect. The front features dramatic pleats, though otherwise they sit flat across the tummy. Comfy to wear, the fit is loose through the hips and leg. They feature patch pockets on the back and belt loops at the waist. The legs taper slightly, finishing just above the ankle and there’s the option to finish the leg with a cuff or a regular hem.

For Peggy we recommend medium weight woven fabrics, such as heavier crepes and suitings. We’ve also made them in corduroy and light denims.

The Peggy Trousers pattern is either 33 A4/US letter pages, or 2 A0 pages (sizes 6-20), or 33 A4 pages and 34 US letter pages, or 2 A0 pages (size 18-30).

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
