Floaty and cool, they’re great with flats for a day on the beach or a Sunday stroll through the park, though they work just as well dressed up with heels for an evening out for more of a glamorous look.

The Carrie Trousers are loose-fitting through the leg, slightly tapering towards the ankle. With no tricky closures, they have a flat-fronted, elasticated-back waistband with pretty pleats at the front. Practical and ideal for spring and summer, the Carrie Trousers are mid-rise and feature ever-useful slanted pockets. Easy to fit, they are a great starting point for newbie trouser sewers who want to get to grips with construction.

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
