If you’d like to make your own face covering to match your outfit then we fully recommend sewing your own. It’s a super easy, great project for beginner and advanced sewers alike.

The Face Covering is an Absolute Beginner sewing pattern.

Fabric Suggestions

Medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton. A length of elastic will also be needed.

Fabric requirements:
- 40cm x 40cm of cotton fabric (a fat quarter works well)
- 60cm of 6mm elastic

The downloadable pattern file contains:

  • Printable PDF Pattern in sizes A4, US Letter
  • Fully-illustrated printable instruction booklet

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
