The Jodie Shirt features a revere collar with a cute half moon collar stand. These features are so lovely to wear but can be a little tricky to sew.

In this tutorial Layla takes you step-by-step through the process of constructing the collar itself, attaching the collar to the body of the shirt and also attaching the facing to get a really clean finish. Breaking each step down, Layla shows you different approaches to pinning and sewing the Jodie Shirt collar – as Layla says, try each way and go with the one that makes you happy!

Although we’ve used the Jodie Shirt in this tutorial, the steps can be used for any pattern with a revere collar including our very own Libby Blouse.
