A mitred corner is a technique that you can use to neatly finish a corner of a fabric edge in a way that eliminates bulk. It could be a napkin that you’re sewing as a gift, or can be used on garments too – perhaps where a hem meets a side slit. Instead of folding over both sides and creating lots of layers, the fabric meets at a 45 degree angle. It can be a little tricky to work out, but Shikira is here with a fool proof method to add a mitre to any corner.
