Designed for medium to light weight knit fabrics like cotton, bamboo or rib jersey, the Adelle Top is the ideal mix of style and comfort.

We wanted to design the perfect jersey top to wear with all your Sew Over It skirts and trousers, and she looks fabulous under our Lorna Pinafore too!

Featuring a beautiful scooped neckline at the front and back, inspired by ballet tops, Adelle is fitted and just the right length (whether you’re tucking it in or not), with a choice of stylish elbow-length or full-length sleeves. Sizes UK 18-30 also include a bust dart for extra shaping.

The pattern is so quick & easy to sew, you’ll want to make one in every colour to pair with your favourite me-made bottoms!

Fabric Suggestions

Light to medium weight knit fabrics such as viscose or bamboo jersey and lightweight cotton jersey.

Adelle also looks gorgeous in a ribbed fabric. Huge thanks to our friends at Sister Mintaka who provided us with the beautiful Almond Ribbed Modal Knit fabric for Salma’s sample!

Pattern Sizes & Fabric Requirements

The Adelle Top is available in UK sizes 6-30 and is split into two different blocks, sizes 6-20 (B cup) and sizes 18-30 (D cup). Sizes 18-30 include a bust dart. See the size charts below for details on fabric requirements.

The Adelle Top pattern is either 18 A4/US letter pages or 1 A0 page (sizes 6-20), or 23 A4 pages, 26 US letter pages, or 2 A0 pages (size 18-30).

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
