Astrid is designed for knit fabrics and features a faux wrap neckline that is drafted snug to avoid any gaping. Sizes 18-30 also include a small bust dart for a better fit.

Pick between short, ¾ length or full length sleeves and make Astrid as a hip-length top or a full bodysuit. This version includes a lined gusset with popper fastenings and elastic around the legs for a close fit. The neckline is finished with binding on both versions.

Astrid looks great with the Rosemary Trousers (also in the Everyday Edit eBook) but we also love it paired with jeans or a mini Ava Skirt for a cute 1990s-inspired look.

Fabric Suggestions

The Astrid Bodysuit & Top works best in cotton jerseys with at least 5% lycra, elastane or spandex content. To keep the wrap snug, you want a fabric with good recovery. If you’re making the bodysuit version then you’ll also want 3x 10mm snap fasteners and some clear elastic.

The Astrid Bodysuit & Top is available in UK sizes 6-30 and is split into two different blocks: sizes 6-20 (B cup) and sizes 18-30 (D cup with an added bust dart). See the size charts below for details on fabric requirements.

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
