The Jessie Coatigan is a warm, unlined jacket, perfect for that in-between seasons Autumn and Spring weather. Depending on your fabric choice, Jessie can be worn as outerwear or a cosy top layer for wearing around the house. Sitting somewhere in the cosy depths between coat and cardigan, try a smart melton wool for a 60s-inspired jacket, or a cosy knit for snuggling up at home.
Jessie is an unlined swing-shape jacket with shawl collar, drop shoulder sleeves and nice deep pockets. The raw edges at the centre front are finished with a wide facing to keep the inside seams hidden. A nice quick make, the Jessie Coatigan has no closures, but can be wrapped closed and secured with a belt if you prefer. The hem of the coatigan hits mid-thigh while the sleeves can be folded up to bracelet length thanks to a deep facing, or left longer.
