A timeless wardrobe staple, the Ultimate Shirt features a dartless bodice, collar and collar stand, back yoke with inverted box pleat, bound cuff placket with traditional shirt cuffs, grown-on button stands and a gently curved hem.

Easy to wear tucked-in or loose, and with a gentle, flattering fit, it’s a great all-occasions shirt. Pair with a pencil skirt for a chic work look, or wear untucked with a pair of Ultimate Trousers to channel a bit of Audrey Hepburn.

The Ultimate Shirt pattern is either 32 A4 pages, 32 US letter pages, or 2 A0 pages.

What is a PDF pattern?

A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home on A4 or US letter paper.

Choose to add on A0 printing and we will print the pattern on our A0 printers and post it to you so all you need to access digitally is the instruction booklet.

If you're using the A4 or US letter options, simply download, print at home, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm. Is this sewing pattern layered?
